An afternoon where the girlies came to support one another and had fun!
HEY VEILED BESTIES!
Veiled Visionaries was created to expose Black Muslim women's presence, accomplishments, and uplift their voices in the media. While our focus is Black Muslim women, we pride ourselves on being an inclusive space; welcoming all people from various backgrounds to our events.
On February, we collaborated with Yass Abayas and other small businesses to create a dedicated space for fun, networking, and growth.
/One of the most powerful highlights of the day was the incredible lineup of vendors. Seeing so many Black Muslim entrepreneurs in one space wasn’t just about shopping, but intentionality. Spaces like these allow us to provide a vital platform for use to:
Introduce community members to one another specialties
Support each other financially and keeping our resources within the community
Empowering the next generation of business owners through visibility
Aysha and her henna business
Bonding over painting
Beyond the beautiful displays, the day served as a space for sisterhood and bonding! Whether it was a quick laugh over a purchase or a deep conversation between booths, the atmosphere was light hearted and filled with genuine connection.
